Hello. My Husband is a Troll who would like to come back to Michigan and we are considering Adrian for our new home base. I have noticed that it does have a high crime rate and low income levels as well as education. I would like honest answers and information from the towns people.

I'm from metro Detroit but taught near Adrian for a couple of years. There is no way I'd live there I don't think unless I was from there. It's in a very isolated area of the state, and regardless of the little growth there is, the population in Michigan, especially in the southern part of the state is stagnant if not declining. I guess if you really like Walmart and large Hispanic population.

Adrian is a great place to live if you like small towns. I went to college in Adrian and lived there for almost 10 years after that. Not sure what types of crime you are referring to, Adrian is a very safe, small town. There is 1 college and 1 university in Adrian. As far as housing goes, you can find nice older homes in town or you can get a bit outside of town and look into some of the newer stuff.
