I'll report you to City Data for abuse of your moderator powers. I am posting within the posted rules of City Data. If you don't like my posts, fine. Censoring me isn't an answer.

I am a native but due to the lack of diverse industry, I moved. I think that qualifies me to speak to other Michiganders and post on this forum.

I present a fair and balanced, non-troll opinion of Michigan. Read my past posts if you dispute that. I have spent anough time in Michigan to add value to the forum.

Great, we have over 70 years of combined experience to share.
Yes it is relevant. How long have you been gone, and how well do you know the present job market? If you have been gone for more than a couple years, then you really DON'T know what the current job market is, and the information you spew forth is outdated and could be totally wrong.

Abusing my powers of a voluntary gig? Knock yourself out. There's no way they'd get rid of me, because they'd never get anyone in their right mind to take over the Michigan section.

If you feel you have something to share that makes all of our lives better, than please do so. My #1 concern is that this forum does not devolve into the same kind of tripe that you find on the traditional media websites (MLive, etc.).

Please, point out to me any information I posted that is outdated.

The fact is, the Metro Detroit area is still a one-industry state, for all intents and purposes.

I don't accuse you of "spewing forth" any information...and again, please point out anything that you consider "Spew."

Thank you.

The Forum, ANY Forum, expects its moderator to enforce the rules of the forum, not be judge and jury of material that may offend a certain state's residents, whether it is true or not.

If all I did was bash Michigan, you would have a case for banning my posts. I assume you have already reviewed my posts in this forum and have discovered this isn't the case.

You still didn't actually answer the question have you? How outdated is your personal experience you are drawing from to make your posts in reference to the job market.

The thread is also for the ENTIRE state and not just Detroit. You do know that not all of the state is one-industry?

Spew? Most of your pompous posts are nothing more than a load of Horse ****. Take your pick.

Well, that's nice. Categorically refer to all my posts as "pompous" and an obscenity, while you cannot point out one post that is outdated or incorrect or not factual.

Yet, I'm the one getting flack from the moderator. Classic.

Metro Detroit's economic fortunes are HEAVILY intertwined with the rest of the state's fortunes. Even you cannot dispute that.

I guess we found one of the "unhappy" Michigan residents.

Don't lecture me on how to be a good moderator. There are also a lot of judgment calls, particularly when it comes to expatriates of a State that come back to its section and pretend to know what's best for the State they left.

Bydand, don't make me ding you with an infraction too.
