Hi everyone,
I am moving to Miami this fall and deciding where I want to live. From what I have seen so far from visits, I like the areas of Miami Beach (not South Beach) and Brickell Key to live. Most of my work is done from home, so I don't have to commute daily to an office. 32 years old, native english and spanish speaker, like to enjoy a nice dinner or drink out but no longer as interested in the bar/club scene. I like to be able to walk to stores, restaurants etc. One requirement which some may think silly but I don't is that I want a beautiful water view from my window.
I would love to hear your opinions on living in Miami Beach, Brickell Key, and anywhere else you would recommend.
Also, if you do recommend Miami Beach, what specific areas would you recommend?
Many thanks!

Hi Liana
What is Brikell key?? I know Brikell or key Biscayne

I live in Miami beach (North Beach) the life here is really nice, it's a place with few restaurant, and wallgreen and publix on Collins avenue and a lot of condo with ocean view, or you can find an appartment on Indian creek Drive with bay view with magnific sunset

I would pick Brickell Key over Miami Beach.

It's ultra convenient to Brickell and Downtown, and also provides more safety. As Miami continues to grow, look for Brickell Key to really become a pricey place where the rich, famous and powerful execs live.

I agree... Brickell Key will give you your view of the water (nothing silly about that!) and you can also walk over to the Mandarin Oriental and their fabulous happy hours on Fridays. You're also close to Brickell, Downtown and the beach.

That's a tough one. Since you aren't interested in clubbing, etc. I suggest anywhere in the Downtown area, Brickell and Brickell Key is included in that. You have EVERYTHING there. Parks, arts, entertainment, bars, clubs, museums, everything. Oh and Midtown is right around the corner you can either drive there, walk there, or take the Metro-rail there

EDIT: Of course the bus too
