I do like Gables style. The atmosphere is very much small city. Since I grew up in very large areas, I find quaint suburbs enticing. I don't find it at all restricting other than most of the homes do not have much closet space. I plan on leasing a flat, and I see that some are newer than for example, my boyfriends home. I do hope to find a place, wherever, with a large(r) closet.
Please remember people! I don't want to hear ANY offensive complaints. Open minded opinions only,PLEASE!

Only a glutton for punishment would commute to central Dade from Broward. Davie has some good areas as well. Stay in Broward and forget about the Gables and it's snooty mayor
This is exactly what I'm talking about. Both for Broward and Dade. If you don't like the Mayor simply say you don't like him/her.

maybe you should consider Aventura as well as Coral Gables. Aventura is a good half-way point, actually, and many of the buildings have beautiful ocean and intracoastal views. Pembroke Pines to Davie is a much shorter drive than from Coral Gables to Davie, but the latter shouldn't take more than an hour during rush hour. I don't like traffic, but given your situation, I would consider it just so you can live by your boyfriend in an area much nicer than most other options in Miami-Dade or Broward.
This is a better example of giving a negative opinion in a positive way.

I'm sorry but I hate having to read between the lines. I do value your opinion, why else would I post this?
