Im not sure what other people find funny about your attitude towards all Hispanics especially Cubans. Maybe you are feeling inferior??? Im not sure what your problem is Cixel but it has to stop all this hatred that you post towards minorities in this country. It is unfortunate that you are the minority in Miami and Im sure your living situation is misserable. I trully pray for you everynight "Dear Lord...please HELP Cixel and his girlfriend relocate, they are trully miserable and are upset that the Ramen aisle in Walmart is always busy and they dont restock".

Always wishing you the best!!!!

Default On another note...

I hate the Palmetto and aviod it at all cost. Im not sure what the engineers are thinking when building. They should look at older cities DOT to get some help. Chicago (not raving about it cause I was born there) has a great expressway system. Although recently has become more congested but you always have a great public transportation system to rely on as a back up.

Miami is one of the country's most important financial centers. It is the major center of regional commerce, and boasts a strong international business community. According to the ranking of world cities undertaken by the Globalization and World Cities Study Group & Network (GaWC) and based on the level of presence of global corporate service organizations, Miami is considered a "Gamma World City."

Because of its proximity to Latin America, Miami serves as the headquarters of Latin American operations for many multinational corporations, including American Airlines, Cisco, Disney, Exxon, FedEx, Microsoft, Oracle, SBC Communications and Sony. Several large companies are headquartered in or around Miami, including Alienware, AutoNation, Brightstar Corporation, Burger King, Carnival Cruise Lines, Citrix Systems, DHL, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and Ryder Systems. Miami International Airport and the Port of Miami are among the nation's busiest ports of entry, especially for cargo from South America and the Caribbean. Additionally, downtown Miami has the largest concentration of international banks in the country. Miami was also the host city of the 2003 Free Trade Area of the Americas negotiations, and is one of the leading candidates to become the trading bloc's headquarters. This effort has been guided by Florida FTAA.

Excuse me for interrupting.

CiXel, Nothingman, Striker et al. Forgive me if I don't mention some of the other more important posters by name.

You guys have managed to turn this sub-forum into a disgusting and crude venue of opinions which are not contributing any valuable information. Instead you are using this for your own personal gratification and feeding off each other's childish complaints.

Why don't you all get together in your own little oasis and use your energies to come up with something constructive. Devise a strategic, well-planned, anti-Miami proposal and present it to those who can do something about it. It is very easy to insult, degrade and attack when you're hiding behind your screens of anonymity but you're not helping anyone or even attempting to improve anything when you limit your rants to this setting.

You have all crossed the line and not only do you blatantly disrespect anything and anybody that is not like you, but you don't respect yourselves.

You are worse than that Head-On commercial.

VPCats...as always, I agree with you. Although, Im still not sure about Striker. He seems not so negative but, definately Cixel and Nothingman are all full of NEGATIVITY and full of racist remarks. And I am not one to call the racists card but they fit the bill to a tee.

C & R... I agree. Striker seems to appreciate and like Miami but I thought about him just because there is still a lot of name calling and "off" remarks made that I just don't find appropriate or warranted.
