I'm sickened by this thread. I had to read it, and then I was disappointed in myself. I at first loved this site, because I want to move to Miami and was looking for advice. But this forum is full of ignorant people who are full of hatred and that's not really what I was looking for.

Compelled is one of my fav posters on this site because I receive respect and helpful answers to my questions.

I agree with Compel in that the last sentence of the OP is just awful.

Also, Illinois, I'm really let down by your post. I know you wanted to move like me and then when you got there you hated it. I can understand that, it might very well happen to me. I also understand others wanting to try to find a better lifestyle and find happiness. After reading your posts and speaking with you, I realized that we were not coming from the same place (in life) and we are obviously not the same. Your last post about the flag statement really showed me where you are coming from and I vehemently disagree.

hey Florida doesn't suck just sofla and jacksonville. I never saw any goodside to Miami. I hated that place since the first day I was born.

Yeah, I'm in a real isolation chamber in the most Hispanic city north of Miami-Dade as a non "hispanic" gringo! And remember, I was murdered by armed Hispanics FOUR times. They speak a different language than me, they are hurting me personally *in tears*!

I wonder what peoples opinion are about also the sizable amount of Korean, Indian (from India) languages and Hebrew I hear around here? I keep on hearing more Italian too. Is that somehow ok because it's not Spanish?

Where I live has nothing to do with my opinion of this forum. What I see is hatred and ignorance on this forum. I doubt everyone posting on this site is or has lived in Florida.

Jamaicians speak English, and you have to go to the sunsentinel.com website forum to read hatred against West Indians. Although there is still a draw to this region, it is no secret that economic issues are pulling interests away from this area and pulling South Florida on an exodus second only to Cleveland and Detroit. There are still people who want to move here, but the economy simply can't support it.

Where I live in Weston doesn't have a large Haitian population. There are some Jamaicans though, but like I said, Jamaica is an English speaking country. Non-Hispanic transplants dominate, but people on this website like to moan and exaggerate on how their are supposedly no Americans here and how it is allegedly "worse" when you leave Weston (actually, it's the other way around)

Not necessarily.
Millions of people love living here, not saying there isn't problems here, but peoples opinion are not as bad as alot of the peopele in this board, NOT EVEN CLOSE!
