What kind of car?

Michelins are usually the Best!
Costco is usually the best deal.

I've ordered them through tirerack.com. I take them to a tire shop and pay them $10 a wheel to mount and balance. It worked out cheaper in my situation. I went with tires that were on sale but had a good rating. Good luck.

I mount my own tires, and have always got them at the flea market. haven't had a flat in years. When I was younger I used tires from junk cars....scary!

I use Tire Hut (and have for many years) on Sunrise Boulevard just east of I-95 on the south side of the street. They often have "blems" (which have cosmetic scuffs only -- no structural defects) for a much better price. You can get a road hazard warranty from them too (invaluable IMO).

Don't confuse them with Tire Shack -- which is on the north side (I don't know anything about Tire Shack, good or bad).

I buy mine used. I mean, they are little used or they get them sometimes from wrecked cars. An 80 bucks tire you can get it here for 30-35.

Tirerack.com's prices are great and the have a huge selection with customer reviews. Have them shipped to your door and take them to a local garage for mounting and balancing. Ive purchased 2 sets of tires from them (8 tires) and got a great product for a great price. One of my neighbors owns a gargae so he drove my car into work one day and mounted the tires for me.
