I am very surprised when a person in America says I have no tattoos.
I could never commit to a tattoo. I mean people can be totally different in a year, all your interests can change.
I see tattoos on many creative types here in Tijuana that don't have to hold down corporate jobs (artists, musicians, graphic design, websites). If they do have corporate jobs, they just hide them better.
I think people will judge no matter what but it's not different in Mexico than anywhere else. Having tattoos either shows you are creative and more of a risk taker, or part of a gang. But really, it's easy to tell the difference between the two.
Tattoo's are not an all American thing, they've only recently become trendy here. Travel to Asia, the South Pacific, Northern Europe...
