Granted, I am depressed right now. But I start to worry when I can't get off the internet. I also read and research subjects compulsively. It's like I cannot turn my brain off. It goes on and on and on until 3am sometimes.

I wish I could stop and get a life, but I'm really struggling.

Does anyone else have a problem? How did you get help?

Thanks,

Yeah, me too. I spend like 90 hours a week on the darn thing. It stinks. I find that if you try to find something else to do and keep yourself busy that it is easier not to turn it on. But the instant I have a minute of slack time, *pow* I'm on it like ugly on an ape.

I wish I had some words of wisdom. Maybe someone else on this thread will have the miracle cure.

Mmmm...I thought thats what the internet was for?!

Locked in for days rotting with your thoughts....

Hey you said you want change...why not turn your addiction into something positive and go to school online?

Other than that I just sit down with a list of things I have to do. As long as thats done I really dont control my free time. Otherwise it feels like a prison to me 24/7
TCOB and then everything is not a BFD

Well let me know when the jackets are in! The other day I was wondering about someone whom I used to chat with and hadn't heard from in two years. I searched the web and found out that he had died back in June. Now I feel terrible that we hadn't kept in touch.
