We plan to visit Cape Cod from the 19th to the 25th. We don't have possibility to come before. Do you think it's crowded on this period?

19th to the 25th of June would be a fine time to visit. Not overly crowded here at that time. Truro is the least populated and hass the least of any of the towns to entertain you. However, the Seashore is spectacular.

Erroneous information before from someone who said Chatham is 20 minutes away from Wellfleet. More like 40 minutes. Twenty as the crow flies, but not if you're driving on the roads!

I live in Brewster and would tell you that you should venture out to as many of the towns on the Cape as you can as each has its own flavor and beauty.

OP,
Keep in mind that speed limits on the Cape, especially the lower Cape are enforced as they are nowhere else. I cannot remember the speeds, but there are a number of a zones that are 30 and 40mpn and then the freeway is a true 55. This is the probably why there is such a huge discrepancy in times on this board: one cannot use 60-70mph rules of thumb applicable elsewhere.

Although mid-June should not be too bad, try to plan your longer drives with some forethought and eliminate the "I think I'll just pop out" kind of drives.

And for what it is worth, some favorites:
Newcomb/Calhoun Hollow Beaches
Nauset Beach
Antiquing along Route 6A
Chatham houses
Orleans for grocery shopping & the Chocolate Sparrow
Provincetown: Lobster Pot; art; street Vibe; great toy store (name?); many other restaurants (I cannot think of names); butvery crowded and parking will be tough; reservations recommended; nice to hit P'Town in the evening rather than in the day.

Once in Wellfleet, I see no reason to go beyond Orleans on Route 6. A trip to Hyannis (one hour a way of slow driving) will blow at least half a day--high opportunity cost.

I would suggest hitting Boston and environs for a few days upon arrival: Cambridge/Harvard Square, Freedom Trail, Little Italy (food), and the Back Bay are fun. If you must include Hyannis/Hyannisport, hit it on the way down the Cape. But once in Wellfleet, relax and enjoy yourself.

Have fun,
S.

We went to the Cape for the 1st time (but I hope not the last) last summer. We stayed in Orleans on Skaket Beach. The house was great, but I fell in love with Wellfleet. Someone here recommended a restaurant in Wellfleet (I cannot remember the name to save my life right now, I'm sure someone else will be able to come up with it.The one with the giant fisherman coming out of the roof) It was fantastic! We had some really good sushi and the rest of the menu had interesting options, too. I have fantasies of being able to avoid to move to Wellfleet some day.

Try WF in the off season. Its charms increase five-fold.

It is cute area. Across the street is a B&B Aunt Sukie's Bayside Bed & Breakfast on Cape Cod in Wellfleet, Massachusetts If you google info on this location of this place, the answer can serve as proxies.

You are on the Cape Side, so calm waters, narrow beach, and little wind. Nice walking beach.

It is a nice 2+ mile walk to Duck Harbor/Griffin Island/Great Island, although not free from cars until you get across to the Gut.

15 min walk to the Library and 20min walk to town.

15min drive to the Ocean Beaches

You'll have a good time.
