I can bet that these 9,000 were not criminals in the sense that was being implied earlier, i.e. committing crimes against life or property. INS made the arrests.

Not that I’m happy about this mess, but immigrants do not necessarily vote democratic.
In fact for example majority of immigrants I know vote republican. They are fairly long time in this country though, and not very young.
We have a joke … The worst enemy of immigrant is an immigrant who arrived before him.
If you are talking about recent immigrants (who have a right to vote of course. Citizens)… many just don’t vote at all.
Driven up and down the expressway lately? There's honestly 3rd world cities that look better.
