Demand low? Are you kidding me??? There's probably a mile long line of new H1Bs waiting to rent that single 650 Sq ft apartment. And anybody who thinks Marlborough is preferred to Westborough does not know that area at all.

Burb Condo market works way different than SFH. Even Framingham would be preferred just because it's closer.

How about this one in everyone's favorite town. 94 DOM so far and they've cut the price over 10%. Listing suggests it's occupied but makes no confirmation of that which is a bit suspicious.

"Closer" to "what"??? If I am new to the area and hired at Dell, UMASS Medical, BJ's HQ or the various employers off of Research/Computer Drive; Westborough wins over any of the places you mentioned.

Didn’t you know that the world ends at 128? LOL

In my career, I’ve worked more on or outside 495 than inside 128. There’s a ton of office space and tech jobs.

Those people specifically would live in whatever's cheapest. Or Worcester if they want urban. Or do the roommates thing.

The place will sell... just (hopefully for whoever buys it) nowhere near 270k. What's probably going to happen is that they will take way too long to get the price down back to where they paid, and mortgage rates will have jumped by then.

My rent in Marlborough is going up to over $2000 for a 1 bedroom with shared laundry at $5 a load. Westborough is probably more than you'd think.

My building is filled with 495 belt tech workers from India who share a 1 bedroom with a spouse and often a toddler. They have no trouble getting people to fill the apartments, even at these rents.

Impossible. Marlborough is all Section 8 housing. LOL

Aaah. So all 495 belt tech workers live in tenement buildings in Worcester because they’re cheap. You do realize that the median household income in Westborough is $120k, it’s 68% college educated adults, and it has a 4-ish% poverty rate? It’s a white collar suburb with a strong school system.
