Xaverian is a good catholic school in that general area. I think St. Sebs is somewhere around there too but its ISL. Those are high schools, I know nothing about the private elementary schools in the area. But honestly, most public schools are pretty decent.

I think I'd recommend finding a house in Dedham and sending the kids to St. Joe's in Needham. The elementary and middle schools are great and then you have some options for high school (Xaverian, Bishop Feehan, Ursline, Montrose and St. Sebs if you really want to drop some $$$$. Also BC High, etc. LOTS of good Catholic high schools in the area.) My parish priest speaks more highly of St. Joseph's in Needham than the Catholic school in Walpole (can't remember the name).

I recommend Lakeville for reasonably priced homes and easy access to both providence and boston. there is an elementary catholic school in taunton and a middle school. I can't help you with either school because I don't have children. I'm biased on Lakeville because I live there and my home will be going on the market in 2 weeks ($300K price point too - $319,900 to be exact and it's 3 bedrooms, 1/2 acre it even has a paved half court for playing basketball). he, he, he.....
