That's great. Wonder why they didn't mention some of the DCR pools and beaches in the area?
Department of Conservation and Recreation - lists DCR pools - one in Topsfield at Bradley Palmer
Above link lists area's freshwater and ocean beaches in the top right corner - includes Salisbury, but leaves off Sandy Pt for some unexplained reason.

Revere Beach does have public bathrooms and lifeguards!

This is true. They've done a lot to improve Revere Beach. It's generally less crowded further north from Wonderland. Kelly's Roast Beef is also an incentive to go to Revere Beach.
