If that's the case, I believe Winchester is the better option. There are quite a few neighborhoods in Winchester where you do not see much traffic, which in any case would be less than what you have now.

Although Winchester is not as artsy/intellectual as Concord, the residents do appreciate such people. There are many art exhibits and book clubs in town. Winchester also has many successful contractors.

Another thing to consider is that once you move out to the burbs and get used to the woodsy/spacious feel of your home, it would be psychologically harder to move back inside Rt128, where both the houses and the lots are a lot smaller.

I am looking to move to Winchester but know nothing about it. Did you decide on Winchester. Id love to know. I'm moving from Long Island. Thanks,

You probably want to start a new post and look into Winchester a little yourself...
