The last place I ever stayed was the golden sands. They had a beacj volleyball court where high school kids would play and hang out, and a great beach. It's far north in the 120' block I believe, but we loved it!

Renting in OC can cost quite a bit during peak seasons and since we're usually only there for a weekend, we have always stayed at the Fenwick Inn. I'm not a fan of Ocean City but I've been there a handful of times. Each time we stayed at that particular inn. Good value, quiet, decent rooms and since people staying there were usually the older crowd or families, we never met any party types.
I'm not sure about the age to rent however. I always leave that up to some one else, usually my best friend and it's never been an issue (she's 23).
