Global warming is what's CAUSING the weird weather. Hope it doesn't freeze here. I got part of my garden in Wed., it has rained every day since then, was gorgeous today, but now, it's raining it's butt off. I was hoping to finish getting stuff planted tomorrow.

No frost on Graham Lake but 40+ mile an hour winds most of the night. Left the bedroom window cracked and the heat came on! The fragiler of the tomato plants may not make it. This is the second full day (night) of cold wind since planting last week. New aluminum dock stayed put though, by cracky. Story about the death of the old dock on the Graham Lake thread.

Sure has been a challenge - weatherwise - this year, whatever the cause.

I love this time of year. I need a jacket in the morning, and by afternoon I'm in shorts. Spring is fantastic. I'm not big on the constant muggy heat of summer. Another few weeks of pleasant weather, then I'll be counting the days to a Autumn.

Mark S....how dare you dis the summer in Maine....if you want some real summer, come on down here to Florida where it was 91 this afternoon. We have been running the A/C almost the whole month of May. Geez....haha....Mark got you on that one! I guess it is what you are used to. When I am in Maine, I am comfortable, except when I get away from the coast. In Eastport it is wonderful, but 20+ miles north in Calais, it is 90. It was really weird to see how much temperature differential there is on the coast and inland Maine!
