"When you see a bright orange sign that says "Bump" slow to a near stop. They're there for a reason!"

The mother of all frost heaves is on Route 6 in Topsfield. It's a double one. Just about the time your suspension bottoms out on the first frost heave the second one puts you into sub-orbital flight. It is so bad that it took the rear axle right out from under the school bus which amused these Maine kids no end. They had set a record.

Tomorrow's the day Casper! I'm happy for you! El taught me to make that sweet tea syrup.... no family size tea bags, but lots of Red Rose little ones are doing just fine! YUM!! So, we can have that and some of that infamous Maine cocktail made with the Allen's. Just try it once, then we'll switch back to the Kahlua and cream...

All the support is making all the insanity here worth it. The truck left yesterday, and I was so tired that I hurt all over! Today, we cleaned and touched up the place, and the guy who is buying the house wanted to "come out and see where everything is." He wanted to come out and snoop was what he wanted, and immediately began to complain about flaws that had been right out in plain view when he SIGNED THE CONTRACT to buy the house. "There's a stain in the sink; it needs to be replaced."So replace it, it's not in the contract. "This needs touch up paint." So touch it up; it's not in the contract. "I want your tax receipt for my paperwork." So go to the courthouse and get it; it's not in the contract."Call the surveyor and tell him to come do a survey." YOU call the surveyor and tell him to do the survey; do I look stupid enough to enter into a verbal contract for an expense this guy wants to pawn off on me? Building the d&^#$*d house from the ground up wasn't this hard! We can't wait to get out of town just to get away from him!

Just the contract. It's not like people are standing in line to buy the house. There were other people who looked and a couple who were really interested. But this was the only offer. We opted to take it rather than try and keep up with payments on two houses. If it all falls through, nothing lost on our end. If it goes, our closing costs are covered. And if we sell, we can start looking for a new one, possibly the one we're renting.
