I tried to get a pic by laying on a picnic table at Harris Point, but it did not turn out.

We have way too much light pollution where we are now.

there are all kinds of stars in maine lets see we have steven king in bangor martha stuart in seals harbor,alan alda vacations in maine,just a few.oh i no what stars you mean the ones in the sky right i see them every night perty aint they.

Ranger 101ST,
I think, from all my heart, that you and Mrs. Ranger ( and all the little RANGERS) are the BIGGEST stars in Northern Maine, with all due respect.

thanks thats so nice but i think im like 10 or 14 from the top maybe even 20th there are alot more stars way bigger then me like MW,peachy,forest,7th,just to name some.dont ask me to put then in order becouse i cant.

DW see a falling star this morning.yup i fell down the stairs thanks to the dog.i was triped i tell ya.but back to topic we see shooting stars all the time while we are looking at the night sky.
