What U of CT are you at? If you can't find a good Italian sandwich, I believe you need to look a little harder (if you tell me what campus I might be albe to direct you to one)There are a number of pockets of Italians there, real Italians, as if the "boat people" Italians.
Same goes for your crab meat things (I can't spell it and there is no spell check)...I've had them there.

To the poor soul who's in CA...Now that was a culture shock, and real hard to get used to.

Hahahaha! I'm glad I'm not the only "tough guy" on this forum that turns into a wuss when it's hot out! I was beginning to think that I was getting OLD, or something!

Give me heat any day. Makes this old body feel so much better.

What do I miss about Maine? My cardinals and the other colorful birds I used to feed. We have sparrows up the wahzoo here. Oh, and hummingbirds, but no ruby throated ones.

Saturday night at the racetrack.

Family.

Friends.

Some of the restaurants, although we have found some really good ones here.

I don't miss the mosquitos one bit.

1. Foggy strolls on the breakwater

2. Crisp, clean ocean air

3. True appreciation for the arts

4. The people so real and down to earth

5. The feeling of being home and simultaneously a part of family history
