There's a lunar eclipse tomorrow. Here's the time line courtesy of Frank, the former publisher of MNN:

The total lunar eclipse on the night of February 20-21 begins about four hours after sunset in our state when the Moon will be well up above the horizon, giving us a good view as it crosses fully into the dark part of the Earth's shadow.
February 20
Partial Eclipse begins 9:43 pm EST
Total Eclipse begins 10:01 pm EST
Mid-Eclipse 10:26 pm EST
Total Eclipse ends 10:51 pm EST
February 21
Partial Eclipse ends 12:09 am EST

I saw in this morning's Portland Press Herald that Colby College (Lewiston) is hosting a lunar eclipse-watching event.
Colby hosting free lunar eclipse viewing | Portland Press Herald

One of the funniest things I ever saw was TV coverage of a lunar eclipse some years ago. The TV camera panned up to a totally dark sky, and showed nothing but a totally dark sky for minutes. Local TV; you can't beat it

Abby, we'll have to figure out the time difference for us down here. Probably about an hour or so later for us I would assume.

Every lunar eclipse I have ever seen the moon doesn't disappear like during a solar eclipse but turns a deep copper color. They're fun to watch anyway.

I will have to check to see what time the eclipse is visible here in California. It is an oppurtunity to connect with people across the country, to stand outside, gazing at the night sky, and to know that others are huddled together sharing the same sight; the turning and juxtapositioning of the wheels of the universe...."a wheel within a wheel way up in the middle of the air."

The best part starts before 10 pm here but we'll see the beginning of it before then. The US Navy website might have time info for around the country. Or perhaps NASA.
