Springfield, Maine. Gather tomorrow for a great breakfast at the snowmobile club before the "snowpocalypse". Hey, we are supposed to get up to 2 feet of snow with wind up to 40 MPH on Sunday. Come see your friends; have an awesome breakfast and enjoy the good company. Waffles, blueberry pancakes, sausage gravy on biscuits, eegs any style, home made baked beans, coffee, tea, OJ, apple juice: all for five bucks. Strawberries on the waffles or pancakes.

Visibility on Sunday may be down to ten feet. Good day to get your spring fishing equipment ready.

That sounds like a fantastic breakfast and I SWEAR I will get up there someday! In the meantime, I hope everyone stays safe and warm on Saturday night/Sunday.

The days are getting longer and brighter. It's a great weekend to come to Springfield for the snowmobile club's legendary breakfast. Weather will be partly sunny.

Disclaimer: This notice is a public service on my part. I am not in the waffle business. I am a member of a different snowmobile club, but I am a waffle connoisseur. There is something about waffles with strawberries and whipped ream.

Tomorrow in Springfield, the waffles will be part of a hunter's breakfast. In addition to the usual great breakfast they will have home fries and ham. With this large gale and over 50,000 homes without power, it should be well attended and there should be lively conversation.

The crews are working ard in this wind. They get power back to a neighborhood and a big old "grampa pine" topples over a half mile from the repair they just made.

They were still working when I drove through at 10:30 last night. I hope lots of folks showed up for a great breakfast this morning.
