Does anyone know anything about this Inn. It is one of my choices to stay when I vacation in September but I have never been there. I would appreciate any comments. Also, I plan on staying in the Blue Hill area, so if anyone has any other suggestions I would appreciate it.

Here are some reviews of this Inn. Hope it helps! (I hope it's okay to post this link.)

Blue Hill is a gorgeous quiet off the beaten path coastal area and I agree that the Inn has a wonderful rep. You'll love it.

The area is indeed gorgeous! We drove through, so I can't comment on lodging, but it's worth the time to spend there.

I drive through Blue Hill often as it's on the way to our summer place. In September it should be fairly easy to find accomodations. There are a few B&B's along Rt 15 all the way down to Deer Isle / Stonington. If you wanted to stay a little closer to Rt 1, Bucksport has a few motels right along the main drag. Blue Hill a beautiful very quaint little town with a few nice places to eat and some adorable little galleries and shops. Have fun!

Thanks so much, the reviews confirmed what I had thought. I'm calling them tommorrow to put a deposit down. By the way I love Maine also, wish I could live there. I have only vacationed in the Portland area, so thought I would go a little further this year.

Thanks again

I ate there years ago and there was a nice jazz band playing then, too. Food was excellent and the setting superb.

Default While in the area

While in that area of Maine you may want to try dinner or even staying at the Crocker House Inn in Hancock. The food is great in an intimate setting.

I was there just last week, June 25th. It was truly wonderful. Beautiful old inn that has been in business for many years. Sarah and Elizabeth are caring proprietors, and I had the best blueberry pancakes I have ever eaten! Furthermore, Blue Hill itself is a delight, and the people very friendly. Be sure to eat at the Blue Moose cafe. The Co-op makes great sandwiches.
