Radar Loop last 4 hrs 1:45-5:45pm. Icons showing who's reporting what. Portland airport (PWM) showing light rain still but I think the suburbs is light snow?

Nothing up here all day.
We set a record last year for latest first measurable snowfall. We will be close to setting a new one this year!
I was actually able to finish raking and washing windows.

Its crazy. Places in Nebraska got more than Caribou so far. Gray Maine got 1.2" yesterday. Portland managed to accumulate 0.1". These are at the airports and office where they measure. So Suburbs must of gotten the same or more. Maybe less too. lol

A lot of what was seen on radar was Virga (moisture falling through atmosphere but not reaching the surface) and since the storm was to the south, northern Maine missed out.

Another chance coming Thursday the 16th and Northern part of state has better chance of snow this time. Mostly rain I think elsewhere though.

After that front... it gets cold again

Some reports coming in now. Check link for updates. Every morning between 6-9am CoCoRaHS sites report their data.

Cornish Maine got 2.2" of snow which melted down to 0.
23". That means it was kinda heavy wet snow. (9:1 ratio)

The "Total Snow" columns is what is on the ground at OBS this morning. So 0.2" melted from the 2.2" max yesterday.

Good idea... Looks like activity might pick up after this week. I wanna swap out my tires as well. Thanks for the reminder. The green leaves still on some trees is throwing me off.

Turkey day looks like it could be interesting for you guys but still 9 days away so could just be sunny or cloudy as well.

Currently here, in Aurora, ME...29F, Dew Point 25F...Winds SE 3MPH
They are no longer forecasting snow in our area...Guess we wait and see...Thought about those light, fluffly flakes during the 10 hrs we worked today in the bakery (where it was hot and intense)! The sky certainly looked pregnant with hopefull snow (on our hour commute home), but was never birthed!
Perhaps the morning commute to work at 4:45am), will draw-it out from the clouds....
Another day closes, here at Birch Meadows Farm...Where the land and us long to return and live fully alive, as one!

7:35am Radar and temps. Not much time to analyze but I don't think those light blues are making it to the ground. Maybe flurries. Darker blues over Maine should be snowing lightly at the surface.

Weak coastal storm and a front
