Restaurant in Rockland?? (Washington: live in, restaurants, prices)

We recently purchased the small sailboat that we sail-ivated for when we lived outside of Baltimore. It was always at the US Sailboat Show in Annapolis every October.

So we are going to go to the Boat show in Rockland on August 10. We are meeting some friends who live in Washington County, and would like to have a reservation for dinner---since the place will be mobbed. An Italian Restaurant would be great, but anything would work.

So.... I'm looking for recommendations.

Rockland, oddly enough, has a surfeit of good restaurants. When the place got gentrified in the late 1980s and 1990s the restaurant scene really took off. You'll get all sorts of recommendations here, I'm sure, but the place I keep hearing about lately is the Pearl. It's the latest incarnation of a restaurant once called the Black Pearl that in the old days admittedly had a questionable reputation. The word nowadays is that it's gone through quite an upgrade, with excellent food and reasonable prices. It's right on the water.

Now the caveat here is that I have not eaten there myself in several years. I'm relying on reports from several foodie friends who have visited this year and been impressed.
