We use a space heater for this time of year also. We will shift to the wood stove when we need heat all day, whenever that is.

The heat is on where we live. I put it to a mild 65.

UGH! I'm roasting myself out of the house.

Turned it off so I can cool the hell down already.

Think I'll leave it at around 50 from here on out. But at least I have heat, landlord kept her word.

I have been turning on my pellet stove mornings for a couple weeks just to take the chill off. Last night I ran it all night on low. Keeps the house around 60 when its 32 outside.

I fire up the heater whenever I'm cold.

Me three. I seldom let it get below 60* in the house, 65* if I'm sitting still working. It doesn't take long for the house to warm up after I build a fire.

Same here. Sometimes I don't let it get below 70 if I'm sitting and doing homework or paper work but usually we don't let it get below 60 although some mornings in the winter we come out of the bedroom and it's 50-55

I sure do wish we had a woodstove in my house. I miss them.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I wouldn't live in this godforsaken state without a secondary heat source.

We have hot water baseboard and a woodstove. We also get a great deal of passive solar warmth from the windows (which I love), so we haven't lit the stove yet.

Our oil heat is set at 56-58 all winter long. I also really hate paying for oil heat. It's just so overpriced.....However we have a propane rinnai we used most mornings and also an electric mattress pad. This is my favorite contraption out of anything. It has individual climate controls for the wife and I. I normally only use it 30 minute before getting into bed to take the chill off, she will use it all night long.

There is also an electric space heater in the bathroom we use in the mornings and for showers.
