Hi AG,
Just wondering re the article on sale of dams. It states that PPL was authorized to increase power generation on the 6 dams involved in deal. Do you know what exactly this entails ? Just wondering how it will affect the lake.

I've been wondering the same thing. Guess we all need to know more about it. As I understand it FEMA sets the maximum and minimum water levels of the lake. Until license renewal time those can't change. I was a little unclear why the authorization to increase power generation was being transfered when PPL is retaining ownership of the three dams on the Penobscot.

I have many fond memoriesof my summers on Graham Lake. Now as an adult I go to my uncles camp as much as I can.I install docks as a summer sideline and I put a new one on Graham Lake this year.
I enjoy fishing here and would like to meet other people who would enjoy fishing with me and my 16 year old son.I also have some diving equipment and plan to do some exploring this summer. We are replacing the camp roof starting on the 20th,if you are crusin the lake stop by.

Default Boat's In!

Finally, the boat's in the water. $1,200 worth of repair to fix problems caused by ethanol in the gas. The lake is still high and the weather is still warm and we hope to pack in as much putt putting and fishing as possible in the next three or four weeks. We enjoyed one our favorite swimming beaches last night. We call it turtle beach because we've seen them laying eggs there in spring.

Curiously the Chihuahua-Papillon enjoys the water more than the doodle. He's such a mama's boy. He'd swim across the lake to get to me. My human boys think it's pretty silly.

Here's to summer!

That sounds perfect. Not too big, and big enough.

Didn't secure the boat or dock for Bill - big mistake. Took the boat out and moved the dock up on beach for Danny, waste of time. Oh well. We enjoyed our week of summer.
