Was that last photo you posted Milkweed Chiles?

True story even though it was a nightmare for me as a child. When I was between the ages of roughly 8 & 13 I had a bad case of warts on my hands.....63 to be exact, the 3 were on my lower lip. On a trip back home to the familys farm in Shapleigh I was talking with my Great Uncle Boo, he told me to go out to the field first thing in the morning as it was warming up, I guess the sap inside might be flowing I dont know for sure, break the stem in half close to the ground and rub the milky fluid all over the warts. Well of course I did as he said I hated those suckers, actauly I think I probably did this 3 mornings in a row as I was desperate to get rid of them. Now...whether this was mind over matter or a true folk medicene I dont know and can not say...but less then a week later I woke up one morning and they are all gone after all those years. I swear this is true.

When your a child and carry around something like this...you know how horrible other kids can be to someone that is different, it was such a huge relief to have these gone I cant tell you. So if you know of anyone with warts, especialy a child, give this a shot...it certainly cant hurt to try.

I hope that's as peaceful as it looks.

How's Kelly, John? Does she know to stay out of the water when it's cold? (My Maggee-dog didn't. I loved that dog but she was part fish, part mule and part dog. I tried to avoid ponds and such in winter.)
