^Great photos as usual, Chiles!

I was in Bethel this weekend. My favorite time of year up there!

A few from the snowy, partly frozen area behind out house:

I live in Pennsylvania, thus the PA. I used to collect hippos, thus the hippo. Gotten rid of most of them (want one?) but I'm still Hippo on ebay and another forum I belong to. When ya got as much gray hair as I do, ya don't wanna keep changin things. lol

I used to hike a lot until I moved here. Neighbors have 900 acres (found that out through the gas co lease people) but they want me to stay off. Seems I scare the wildlife by walking around. Their 4 wheelers don't. Their tractors don't. Just me. By walking. Do I sound pissed?

Anyway, retiring in a few months and will be moving. One priority of my new home will be public places to walk/hike. no more 'stay off'!

Hi entyss--No you can't but thanks for the thought. You are not the first to ask. She really is a sweetie.

PAhippo--come to Maine-lots of fine hiking and beautiful scenery.

Yea, been there on vacation a few times (Ellsworth area). Thought of moving there but at this point it's a choice between retiring (not working) in PA or working in Maine. As tempting as Maine is, I really am ready to retire. Live on bread and water but the free time will be worth it. Just keep posting those pics-that'll be my visits. lol
