I smashed the front of my camera lens on those rocks, trying to get too close. Noe I have a 400 mm so I don't have to get into unsafe places to slips on incredibly slippery water soaked lichen on rocks trying to get some arcane photo.

I'm no daredevil myself. These were taken on the lower level at Thunder Hole with the sea swirling around me. Rocks were barely damp, not slippery at all. Wasn't crowded because it was still May.

I can attest to that. I've been up here since Sept '09 and the only job I've gotten was a seasonal temp during the potato harvest. I've applied and had a few interviews but there are so many trying for the same jobs employers can afford to be choosy.
