7th, do you know what the butterfly in the first picture is? We've been driving through half mile long clouds of these.

Oh now I'll be singing that song! I heard a little kid singing in the grocery store and sang it for almost a week.

I'm bringing home a baby bumble bee
Won't my mommy be so proud of me....

Kristin the day care queen has fun versions of that song. And some versions that would give kids heebie jeebies!

Default Fishing in GLS

We took the boat to Grand Lake Stream yesterday afternoon. Steve fished, I took pictures.


I have a thing for dragonflies.


New white pine cones.


A duck box.

An eaglet. It's so young it still has some down. We don't get close enough to the nesting area to get a good photo.


A baby bass Steve caught while trolling on the way in. We keep a few big perch for one meal each year. The rest of the year it's catch and release until the fish won't survive.


Time to go. Steve caught three bass.
