This is my DS, I called him to make sure it was okay to post this. He said he would be quite proud to show off is fish. He and a buddy left Brunswick at 3:00AM on Sunday and were on the ice by 6:30AM. He said the road conditions weren't great however knowing it was going to be a bright sunny day, the fishing conditions were going to be perfect. Look at the smile on that kids face, that's pure happiness right there!

He was fishing the Rockwood side of Kineo.

I don't know how to enlarge the photo... click on it?

Sigh.. can't wait to see it all in person. Of course it looks like Maine here. It's been snowing for almost 24 hours. Due to the winds, it is being deemed a blizzard/ of course, there is a salt shortage in my county. drifts so high almost couldn't get out to take the puppy to the bathroom. Had to shovel a path. Little dachsund leg's couldn't make it through(it was up to his neck in the low spots).

My young black lab got stuck out in the yard the beginning of the week. He was out playing with the Ruffians and ran into a spot that wasn't packed down, went in over his head and freaked out trying to get back on top of the snow. He couldn't even jump up high enough to get up to the packed stuff and pull himself out. Before I got out there to haul him out, the 5 year old had jumped into the hole Mojo had made and helped him out. I had to haul the kid out of the hole instead of the dog. He was beaming ear to ear, and I must have heard a thousand times that afternoon, "I saved Mojo, just like he would save me!"
