A small dish of cider vinager and cover it with saran wrap. Ppoke holes with a toothpick and place by any fruit you have laying around. Fruit flies are stupid enough to go in and die. I keep one by my bananas and apples on the counter. Yours, Heloise Lite.

We get the cluster flies in the barn. They practically fill the cupola in the fall. In the spring there are thousands of them dead all over the floor. I used to try to spray them out now I just wait until spring and vacuum them up.
They don't hurt anything they're just a pain to vacuum up.
