What prompts you to say this? I've never been to Pensacola/Panhandle beaches, but have spent good amounts of time at many other FL, GA, and Northeast beaches. What makes Panhandle beaches better?

They are clean and the water is clear. The beaches in Louisiana and Mississippi are not.

Pensacola and Destin are not the best beaches in Florida (that would probably be Bahia Honda in the Keys), and I've not been to Naples....but the surf, sand and water color are much nicer than Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Kitty Hawk, Virginia Beach, Ocean City, Rehoboth Beach, or Atlantic City all of which I've visited. Of these, Rehoboth Beach and Atlantic City are the worst while Hilton Head is the nicest, but the water and year round weather is still not as good as the Panhandle. I consider that benefit of living in Louisiana because of the proximity, just like proximity to Las Vegas is a benefit of living in Los Angeles though its in a different state.

And I totally love Louisiana living and couldn't be happier with my decision to return to my home state. Today, the Sunday before Thanksgiving, when people in West Virginia and Maryland where I've also spent time are hunkered down in the cold, myself and a bunch of friends took a boat down the Amite River, the Diversion Canal and all the way across Lake Maurepas wearing short sleeves most of the time and ate outdoors at a waterfront restaurant, then we went to a bar with an live band playing outdoors. I live in the river with my own dock, and my parents live in a suburban neighborhood with a large lake in the middle and for all this the property taxes are less than a fifth of what people pay in the Northeast.

Well paying jobs in the plants and the oil and gas industry allow people with no college degree to afford large new homes, big trucks, and nice boats with lots of disposable income to put in the local economy.

And my community has very low crime, an excellent quality of life, down home friendliness everything you'll need. Yes parts of Baton Rouge and New Orleans are a mess, but no worse than Baltimore, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, Newark, Los Angeles, or any other major Democrat city in the country. I am originally from the New Orleans area and like visiting but have no desire to live there again though. Livingston Parish is much more my kind of thing now.

Dude, why do you need to include in just about every post some derogatory thing about Democrat-run cities? Nobody's forcing you to live there, why do you need to constantly inject politics into everything lmao

That's part of Louisiana. The conservative culture. There is much criticism of Democrats here.

One of the best things about Louisiana is not too many Democrats, and Democrats are a major reason why so many other states are so messed up with such a terrible quality of life. The worst places in Louisiana are the ones dominated by Democrats.

There are companies moving here from California and even Kopter setting up manufacturing from Switzerland and an Amazon distro center, but if that doesnt count as positive growth, ok then.

Seriously in case of Democrat areas being the worst in the state, compare North Baton Rouge vs Denham/Watson/Central/St. George......New Orleans East vs Covington/Mandeville.......Alexandria vs Pineville, or Monroe vs West Monroe and you will have to admit I have a point. All the poorest most crime ridden parts of the state are Democrat dominated.
