Currently living in England, planning on moving to LA County for College.

Is it a good place for students?

What does "good" mean?
What will you be studying?
Where will you be attending?
Will you need a job?
Where will you be living?
When are you planning on moving?

Studying Business Management. SMC/UCLA. I don't need a job, I've already saved. On Campus.

Los Angeles is a great place for students. I attended grad school at UCLA and I loved it. My cohort was great and we always had something to do when we wanted to get together. You'll love it.

Nice come back with the dictionary link. LOL

Yes, LA is great for students. LA is great for anyone who takes a liking to the LA lifestyle and who can strike a healthy balance between the good and bad aspects of living here. There is an abundance of things to see and do, a very diverse mix of people, and fabulous year round weather to boot so life here can be very interesting, exciting, and fun, especially for young people. Ultimately your college experience is mostly what you make of it.

Are you going to SMC or UCLA? You can't go to both at the same time. I think you mean you plan on transferring to UCLA.

And, sure..LA is a good place for students. Lots of different venues, culinary options, different neighborhoods with their own respective vibes, relative diversity, good weather, proximity to the great outdoors, etc etc. I'm having a blast.
