The patents are real though, that his previous presentation outlined; I looked them up.

Unvaccinated 12- to 17-year-olds have a coronavirus case rate about one-third higher than unvaccinated younger adults, a group that previously had the most coronavirus infections, according to L.A. County health data.

“Unvaccinated teens now have the highest case rate among all groups of all ages” who have long been eligible for vaccination, Ferrer said.

Only 65% of L.A. County youths 12 to 17 have been fully vaccinated. By contrast, 73% of L.A. County residents 16 and older are fully vaccinated, as are 86% of seniors 65 and up.

Health officials say that, contrary to earlier in the pandemic when adults were the major spreaders of the virus, it’s now known that children can be effective spreaders of the coronavirus...

The new mandate for L.A. County begins today, 11/29/21.

City and health officials hope the new ordinance will help reduce the risk of coronavirus spreading in higher-risk areas. The new vaccine verification mandate, one of the strictest in the country, applies to indoor facilities such as coffee shops, museums, theaters and other spaces.

Enforcement of the city program, dubbed SafePassLA, will begin Monday. Businesses or venues in violation will face penalties — at first a warning, then an escalating series of fines starting at $1,000 and topping out at $5,000 for a fourth or subsequent violation.

Is there a check for vaccine verification at LAX and other major airports? If not, why not?

For people entering from another country there is, but not for flights within the United States.

No domestic vaccination requirement is either the President's reputation for inaction or concern about lawsuits.

In partnership with the state and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the county...will set up a free rapid testing site Friday (12/3) for arriving passengers at the international terminal at Los Angeles International Airport.

Expanded testing was also one of the primary pillars of a winter response plan President Biden unveiled earlier in the day.

Rapid tests, which offer results in 15 minutes using a kit that can be taken anywhere, help people know if they’re essentially safe before heading to work or going to a social gathering, L.A. County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer said.

Along with requiring insurance companies to reimburse people for the purchase of home tests, 50 million such tests are expected to be distributed to community health centers and rural clinics, where those without insurance can access them at no cost.

The site at LAX, for instance, will also give those testing negative a kit they can use to test themselves again three to five days later, in line with CDC recommendations for international travelers coming to the U.S., regardless of vaccination status.

It may be that this variant is more like the common cold, with fewer severe symptoms.

USC student who traveled to East Coast is L.A. County’s 2nd Omicron case:
https://www.latimes.com/california/s...d-omicron-case

At Nference, a U.S.-based biomedical data platform, researchers sequenced Omicron and found that part of its genetic code, which is not in other variants, is also present in the common cold.

That strand could be a sign that Omicron is evolving to become less severe and more transmissible similar to the evolution of other viruses

It's because the vaccines are not real vaccines and every country that has a high vaccination rate is producing more mutations. The least vaccinated countries are having far fewer infections.
