Do you even live in L.A or another “homeless advocate” that doesn’t live here ..all the hardcore ones posting here don’t seem to live here .

What’s wicked is allowing people to rot on the streets and allowing innocent people to get harassed attacked by mentally ill .
The issue with being placed forcefully in a home. How are you gonna convince someone that your ok? Lets say your wrongfully put in. They're gonna see you as a crazy person who's pretending to be normal and you'll be trapped.

Imagine you lose everything. You get laid off. You can't find a new job in time. Saving go low and now you're thrown out into the streets.

Your told you got 30 days to find a job and place to live. You struggle to find the job, the but the waiting and lack of an address hinders any effort. You start be become more dirty, and you haven't showered or shaved for days making you unappealing to any employer.

Times up, a special unit is sent out to find you, bag you and take you to Antelope Gardens. Where you'll spend the rest of your days in the very idea you've created..

I’d rather stay in Antelope Gardens versus the hepatitis infected streets of skid row wouldn’t you?

Yeah but “homelessness isn’t a crime” so he shouldn’t be charged with murder.

You are correct in the first statement: “homelessness isn't a crime”.
Murder, however, is a crime ...
So there you go. You've learned something today.

How about make the employer make sure the the job is applied and can be done. And if not. Compensated for the time wasted. But everyone gets a change. Your antelope valley isn't mandatory. But it is the best chance for a better life.
Overall we're paying for an issue that is nether republican or democrat. We all dumped that crap together...

The bill hasn't even been completely written, it's 2 paragraph statement of purpose and I'm not sure it ever will be, appointing conservators for God knows how many homeless people would cost a fortune, and once they have a conservator the conservator has to look out for their rights, which means they can't force them into camps in Antelope Valley.

A more likely outcome would be that every available section 8 voucher would be issued to homeless people who have been appointed a conservator. Probably not a great outcome for poor families who may well end up homeless without housing assistance. Keep in mind, a conservator has the burden of being responsible for the welfare of the ward, so they can hardly scoot them off to a local night only shelter because they would be neglecting their duty if the ward was injured.
