Currently I fly from Seattle to Burbank every 2 months. The Burbank airport terminal serves its purpose but it's outdated and doesn't offer modern airport amenities like large food courts.

Does anyone know the plan of the Burbank airport replacement terminal??

The reason Burbank is so easy to fly in and out of is BECAUSE they don't have miles of restaurants and shops. I hope it stays the way it is.

Exactly. And there is a strip mall full of restaurants next door with a McDonald's, Del Taco, Panda, Denny's, Starbucks and couple of other restaurants. The airport is so easy that there isn't much of a reason to be sitting inside for hours before your flight

If you are just going on a short flight why do you really need a big food court too .

The strip mall place at the entrance mentioned has a bunch of options too .

I know one time I went out of there sometime last year there was a bar restaurant place to eat/hang out

Past security in the southwest terminal at Burbank airport there is a burger bar and a cafeteria with pizza, sushi and salads. Also in the southwest terminal at Burbank airport is a Peets coffee bar. So I guess Burbank airport has enough food services for a small airport.
