What kind of demand might I expect renting my home on the West side? How frequently might I expect to book rentals?
Zillow says it rents for about 7K / month. I want to do 6 day to 28 day rentals of the entire furnished house.

How many extra sheets do I need per bed? Just one extra set?
Coffee maker a must?
TV in every bedroom?
Alarm clocks in every bedroom? Or just plain clocks in every bedroom?

You probably would want to try to ask this question at some sort of airbnb forum.

You don't have to offer anything. No TV, coffee maker, wifi, anything.

You'd be running a business. If you want to charge more, you need to offer more. You'll have to decide what to offer that will earn you a profit. What will a coffee maker -- and some free packs of coffee -- cost you? How much more could you likely charge for this amenity?

You'd be entering the hospitality business. Do you want to run a Hilton or a Motel 6? Either is a viable option. It's your choice. But customers expect to get what they pay for.

If you plan to charge a lot, customers will expect royal treatment. If you plan low prices as compared to nearby AirBnB rentals, then customers will overlook a bare bones house.

As an AirBnB customer, I expect an in-unit washer/dryer that I can use any time of night or day. Wifi is also critical. I don't much care about TV. I don't travel to watch TV. A coffee maker is nice, but not essential.

I actually might do a 3-month rental next summer. Totally different deal with a lease agreement, background checks, etc. With a furnished home legally you can ask for 1st month rent plus a security deposit equal to 3 times the first month rent (total of about $28,000). Riff raff squatters are not going to be able to come up with that kind of money.
