In one of those instances they did handcuff the guy, but I had moved far enough away that I could not see why he got handcuffed.
I think it's probably for attention...also the ones that are signing...their parents (if they have/had them) probably paid little to no attention to them.

So, in other words, the stabbing was partly justifiable!

I occasionally ride the bus, and nothing upsets me more than having someone playing their music too loud on the bus.

So there were reasons for this attack! So just calm down! This was no random attack!

I'm with NoiseFreeAmerica and I take noise issues very seriously, as noise is, indeed, a health issue. Loud noise, with the right decibel level, has been know to cause heart attacks in the right people!

he wasn't wearing headphones to all you that think he was,and he does sing music loudly i agree.but the fact that you guys seem to think it was unprovoked, youre very wrong because he keeps to himself and other people bother him not the other way around.truth is that yes there was a fight/arguement but it was by accident and he was in fear of his life.sometimes good people do bad things.none of us are perfect and he is very sorry for what he has done.he is sorry to the family of the victim as well.

How do you accidentally stab someone to death ??

It sounds like you know this person personally ? The suspect ?

I have got to say, there has been surprisingly little information released about this. No pictures of the victim, no pictures of the charged. It took forever for them to release the name of the deceased, and still no real description of what happened despite the fact that there had to have been at least a dozen witnesses and probably a lot more. As someone who takes transit often (but does keep to himself at all times), this was a little bit of a frightening occurrence. Though I suppose less terrifying than those stories about crazy people pushing strangers into the track area.

Has LA had one of those yet?

It's something I think about every time I'm on a train platform now. I scan for weirdos, couples arguing, etc. Scary...

This is why L.A needs , Stop and Frisk like in NYC. Weirdos know they can get way with stuff because 99% of the time the police don't do ANYTHING about them.

Way too many weirdos and these are usual the ones that are visable weirdos that everyone looks at and knows it's just a matter of time before they randomly attack someone.

I'm for these policies if they save lives. Enough with the politically correct nonsense that results in more and more victims.

i do know him personally and the fact that people think its ok to just pick a fight with someone and then wanna act like they are a victim when they arent is totally rediculous no matter what happens in the end.yes i agree that its not ok to go around and hurt each other.he isnt this monster that you all are trying to portray.he actually is someone who is a good guy he just got caught in a situation where he or nobody for that fact should have been in.

NYC is doing away with stop and frisk courtesy of their brain-dead mayor.
