Sooo, what's up? I've been twice in New York, -1977 and 1988... Dont remember much. Not much for tourism is the States! What are places to go that are worth seeing??
I'm not interested in masstourismplaces, I wan't to party, little cultur and lots of good food!!! (I dont have a weight problem...)
Should I rent a car? A good hotel to stay in, not the cheapest!! A good hairdresser... Maybe I wan't to rave... Just simply, good places to go and have fun.. What should I be a ware of??? Places I must never go??
Here's just a girl from the other side of the world...

You sound like you'll fit into this age demographic: here's a link for what music band is playing what club.
Hollywood Clubs and Los Angeles Area Clubs Music Calendar.
Be sure to check it the week you're visiting here. Also LA Weekly - HOME - The Essential Online Resource for Los Angeles will have all events, clubs, etc.
Yes, you'll need to rent a car here to have any sort of satisfactory L.A. visit at all. Our public transportation is a bad joke, very limited, not running after hours.

The best private hairdresser (that's one that goes to the stars' houses) is a good friend of mine, so private mail me and I'll give you his phone number. I'm poor and on a lifelong diet, so I can't help you with the rest of your questions, although the L.A. Weekly (see above link) reviews restaurants every week and lists many. Your English is quite good: I'm sure you'll have a good time on your visit. . .
