Thanks so much! Did you drive through this street and do you do it regularly or are you referring to driving on Venice Blvd mostly? Thanks!

I rode my bike in the evening when I was staying around there and Walgrove (at least south of Venice) gets pretty busy during commuting hours. I just looked at google street view and Walgrove at Venice has a traffic light which would lead me to believe there's quite a bit of through traffic. Getting across Venice on adjacent streets (without traffic lights) can be extremely slow which would incentivize people to use Walgrove.

walgrove can get congested during commuting hours, but it is certainly better than nearby Lincoln Blvd. the reason for the congestion is that walgrove is the only street between centinela and lincoln that goes from washington blvd to north of the 10 freeway (becomes 23rd st in city of santa monica).

2034 Walgrove, right?
Walgrove is a one-laner each way and it only gets busy during school drop-off/pickup hours. It's pretty steady traffic but it's a residential area not like Centinela Blvd.

Don't underestimate how busy it gets in the evening commute. People commuting south locally from Santa Monica use it as an alternative to Centinela and Lincoln because of the relative lack of lights. Constant traffic 4.30ish to 7 ish, although seems to flow smoothly and not at loud speed. Not sure what it's like in the mornings.
