You can go to the other thread but since this one's recent there's First Fridays this coming March 30th at the Natural History Museum. There are lectures every event and there's a guided tour of Dinosaur Hall. The upcoming lecture (at 6:30PM) sounds cool: "Is it good or bad that the world has so many languages?" by Dr. Jared Diamond. Afterwards, there are performances and a DJ, and beer.

Join Friends of the L.A. River. There's a volunteer clean-up on April 28th, which sounds like drudgery but you'll meet folks involved in the community.

The L.A. Beerathon is on Saturday, downtown, $55/reservation.

What kind of people do you want to meet? You want dates? Just people with similar interests? If the latter, what ARE your interests? When I lived in L.A., I sometimes met people on Sierra Club outings. I knew that they were generally active and interestedin the outdoors. But that may not be what you're interested in. There are lots of groups involved in museums (as suggested above), theatre, restaurants, sports activities, etc. Oh, you might also give your age.

Fascinating, captain. This bot seems to be responding to itself.

Wow, what do we have here?

My guess, OP is either:
- A bot
- Suffering from short term memory loss
- Have multiple personalities

Probably a bot or a spammer...ask for personal info from people on the internet, then put them on a spam list or try to steal their identities.
