Hi,

Does any one has any study experience with Santa Monica College? I wish take some online classes but found that almost all the classes are occupied. Further more, they have raised the tuition fee.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

I took classes in person. They were all good quality; all my professors were also teaching at UCLA and/or USC... one of them was even a department chair!

As far as the online classes go... haven't taken any

That's pretty much the scenario at any community college here now. Unfortunately, with the huge funding reduction as a result of state budget cuts, the entire California community college system has had to cut classes and turn students away.

Went to SMC in the 80s ... it was always known as a very good CC and I believe it's still is.

I attended SMC in the late 80s and loved it. I transferred to a 4yr and was discovered SMC coursework was pretty rigorous (and I was grateful for that!).
