HI there,

I want to move to LA after leaving my wife. I need to find work and get myself cashed up to return to Australia. I have forklift experience and I would like to know where in LA would be good to look for forklift work.

Please pick one of the following:

Legal Immigration

Illegal Immigration

Please note that you need to have a work permit to work legally in the US, otherwise known as a "green card."

I already have that and have been living in PA for the last 7 years, hence I
want to get back home. LOL

also, there are no jobs in LA. LA is in the top five worst places to find a job right now. locals can't find one, so don't expect to find one. Pick another city to "cash up", because people who have been living here for years can't do it.

If you are working now in the PA area I would just stay where you are. Ca is not the place to start looking for any jobs right now.

Or to save money. Its VERY expensive here and by comparison, PA, even in the nicest areas, is relatively inexpensive.

Why don't you send soon to be exy-poo here instead, and you go back to Australia?

There are no jobs in California!

I like this mantra I'll be saying it to everyone I see in the street, whether they ask me or not.

Forklift what exactly?

Well you can try the wholesale business around the Downtown area, Vernon too if that's what you're looking for. Although these types of forklift positions don't really require special training nor is it a full time position, usually someone on the floor is able to do so. And it doesn't take a genius to use one so-.
Might also want to look into Costco or Sam's Club too, they're about everywhere, though if you can find one in PA, I would suggest staying there and save.

And if I may ask, why Los Angeles?

LA is not exactly an ideal place to get "cashed up". Easy to get "cashed out" though...
