Has anyone lived in or heard input (good/bad) on any of the following apartment buildings:

Palazzo East
Villas at Park La Brea
Museum Gardens on Miracle Mile
Beverly Arnaz
Deauville Apts

I'm moving out to LA at the end of the month and be working in downtown. I'd prefer to live on the westside, but know too well about the horrific traffic in LA. Thought BH or the Grove area may be a bit better and more central for a newcomer...thoughts, suggestions? I'm hoping to come out in a week or so for a few days to check out apts and hopefully secure a place before my big move. Would really appreciate any advice. I'm single in my late 30s and am looking for a gated, luxury bldg with pool.
