Has anyone got any suggestions about what to do in Pasadena, just after Christmas time? I heading down for New Years but besides the Rosebowl, I'm not sure what to do. I'd like some suggestions from people who've been there before and some locals suggestions as well. I'm looking forward to warm weather in December. It snows up here in Vancouver. Brrrrrr
Thanks
T

There's the Rose Parade, Old Town Pasadena, The Norton Simon Museum, The Pacific Asian Art Museum, Gamble House, Cal Tech, Art Center College of Design, riding the Gold Line, The Huntington Library and Gardens, the San Gabriel Mountains….you'll have plenty to do. And Dec-Jan is probably the most beautiful time of year here, and when skies are the clearest.

You can also go to the the LA county Arboretum and Santa Anita horse racing track in nearby Arcadia. Drive up Angeles Crest highway and Mt Wilson for hiking and great views. Plus you can take the Gold line train to downtown LA in about 15 minutes for only $1.35 and visit all the sights there.
