There's not a whole lot of people I trust enough or willing to be friends with. Besides, I can't relate to most people.

The Pacific area's one of my favorite areas to hang out. How do I deal with the public? I just stick to myself and not be friendly with anyone. It's hard to make friends in L.A. anyway.

Which communities in the Pacific area would private homes most likely be located?
I agree, humans are so overrated.

Unless you live in an apartment or condo in a social part of LA (Weho, midcity, hollywood, downtown) you don't have to be social with your neighbors at all.

Baker is very isolated.

But perhaps you'd prefer to live on a boat?

i was gonna say topanga. you can go live on some weird dirt road and you might have the odd hippie wander round but nobody who is gonna harass you.
if you are a true isolationist i would move to the desert. joshua tree, to be exact. i lived there for almost a year. you can't beat those skies at night, even if the blasts from the nearby base are a little disconcerting. but you can live there for almost nothing. literally. and yeah, why would you want to move to los angeles if you are that misanthropic? i mean, i relate, i have more than a dash of misanthropy myself and hope someday to be the crazy lady out in the woods, but really?
