I am coming to L.A. shortly for a few days and I need some restaurant recommendations.

First thing I will eat when I get off the plane is In N Out.

Looking for these options:

Best NY style pizza in L.A.
Best non kosher Jewish style deli: I've heard Jerry's or Nate and Al.
Chinese food

For breakfast, is the Nickel Diner in L.A. any good? I saw it on Diner's Drive In's and Dives with Guy Fieri.

Musso and Frank Grill still good?

Thanks!

Nickel Diner's hit and miss and a hipster magnet (apologies if you're a hipster, that's just not my scene). I'd hit The Pantry for old-school brekkie if I was downtown.

A Tommy's chili-cheeseburger tastes best from the Rampart & Beverly location. So say I.

Tommy's sounds good. I have heard of it before. As does Thai BBQ.

I am def. going to add Thai BBQ to the list. Tommy's if I have time since I will only be near downtown/Westlake one day.

Anything on pizza?

For authentic California style pizza I recommend California Pizza Kitchen or Wolfgang Puck Express restaurants; both have numerous locations and are not very expensive.
