Private Schools Around East Garden? (Union, Uniondale: school district, zoned, military)

Our family will be moving to military housing in East Garden (near Mitchell Field). Can anyone suggest good private schools in the area for a sixth grader based on personal experience or knowledge from family and or friends who have attended?

IT's East Garden City.

If you are looking for a Catholic school, Kellenburg is nearby and starts at 6th grade. My nieces and nephews went there.

As far as non-religious can't help you. They are very expensive around here, just an FYI.

You may also have the option of sending your child to a public school district other than the one in which you will be residing, such as the nearby and well regarded Garden City Union Free School District, by paying an out-of-district tuition. You may want to check to see if there are openings and what the out-of-district tuition will be.

We will be zoned for Uniondale Union Free School district.
